Our cinnamon crumb cake becomes crispy and oh, so delicious in a waffle iron. A quick syrup made with peach juice and Earl Grey tea is a unique topping for this signature brunch treat.

Ingredients

8 Otis Spunkmeyer® Cinnamon Crumb Loaf Cakes

1 cup sifted powdered sugar

1½ tablespoons brewed Earl Grey tea

1 tablespoon peach juice

1 peach, sliced

Preparation
  1. Heat waffle maker. Place 4 loaf cakes at a time onto the surface of the waffle maker. Close lid and heat for 3-5 minutes or until the edges are crisp.
  2. Carefully remove the waffle from waffle maker and transfer to a plate and keep warm. Repeat with remaining loaf cakes.
  3. Whisk the powder sugar, earl grey tea and peach juice together in a medium bowl until smooth.
  4. Spoon glaze over waffles. Top with fresh peaches.  Serve immediately.
