The weather’s hot, the sun is shining, the grill is on and anticipation is high. Independence Day is just around the corner, which means it’s time to bust out the red, white, and blue. To honor this momentous summer holiday, we whipped up a 4th of July menu guide that would have the founding fathers coming back for seconds.

  • Red, White and Blue Layered Refreshments – Stay cool, hydrated, and patriotic with this refreshing beverage featuring cran-apple juice, pina-colada flavored mix, and blue Gatorade. (Via Katarina’s Kitchen)
  • Red, White & Blueberry Skewers – Sweet, fruity, and portable. You don’t have to eat at the table with these hand-held bad boys. (Via Makes and Takes)
  • American Flag Pizza – We don’t need an excuse to eat pizza, but when it’s shaped and decorated like the American flag, we get more patriotic with every slice! (Via All Recipes-Snacking in the Kitchen)
  • Otis Spunkmeyer Blueberry Muffin Ice Cream –  Sweet, creamy, and delicious. Add some fresh cut strawberries for a patriotically tasty red, white and blue dessert! (Via Let Me Eat Cake)

Show us your Fourth of July #OtisHack and tag @OtisSpunkmeyer on TwitterInstagramFacebook or Pinterest. If we use your recipe, we’ll thank you with something sweet.
